The Meta-owned company does update its software requirement for supported operating systems from time to time. What iPhones Will Stop Working With WhatsApp?
WhatsApp has confirmed that it will only support iPhones running on iOS 12 and newer versions only, and the changes will take effect on October 24, 2022. Users with older iPhones will have to upgrade their OS to a more recent version to be able to continue using the app.
