When you mention Snoop Dogg, the first two things that come to your mind are; rap music and weed. Yes, you can't take the weed from Snoop Dogg and so he is bringing digital weed to the metaverse.
The US-based rapper and businessman alongside his son, Cordell Broadus (aka Champ Medici) are set to bring digital weed to the metaverse after a press release that announced the rapper's partnership with mafia-themed Metaverse MOBLAND to introduce digital weed farms to the metaverse.
Snoop will own and operate the digital weed farm in MOBLAND, and there is a limited collection of Snopp Dogg branded digital weed farm non-fungible tokens (NFTs) and as well, exclusive content from Snoop's son, will also be made available for players of the game.
The blockchain game is backed by Twitch Co-Founder Justin Kan, Terra's Do Kwon, Animoca Brands, and many more, who will be pioneering the Grow to Earn feature in the virtual world through a vast array of utilities for business buildings and land.
"If it's flipping hamburgers at McDonald's, be the best hamburger flipper in the world. Whatever it is you do you have to master your craft. I have been mastering my craft for decades. My son showed me the importance of collaboration with MOBLAND to introduce the first-ever digital weed farms as NFTs. There is a paradigm shift happening here and I want to be at the forefront of this," Snoop Dogg said.
Champ Medici explained that while growing up, he always saw his father play video games while having the game controller and cannabis at the same time. And that's "why I think it's a no-brainer to bring the metaverse and digital weed together," Champ Medici said.
Recently, Snoop Dogg has taken a deep interest in crypto and NFT. The music mogul built a virtual version of his real-life mansion and held a virtual concert in the Sandbox.
Earlier this month, Snoop Dogg and his son collaborated with Clay Nation to release iconic clay animations, unlockables music content, and land pitches to Cardano.
