Hardly will you talk about companies that offer affordable smartphones in Africa and Asia will go you go without mentioning Infinix.
Known for delivering mid-range and budget friendly smartphones, the company doesn't focus on groundbreaking industry innovations the way Samsung, Apple, Huawei, and Xiaomi does. Instead, they focus on what works and won't eat deep into consumers pocket.

However, a few things have changed within the years as the company have been involved more in research and development, and if this news is to hold any water, the Hong Kong-based company has in the works something Inifnix users will love.
According to a photo shared by XDA-Developers, Infinix has made a monstrous 160W ultra fast charger, which we don't know for now if its intended to be used in a future Infinix smartphone or laptop, or even both.
The current fastest charging Infinix smartphones are the Note 10 Pro and Zero 8 series which all go as much as 33W. Even the Windows laptops that Infinix recently begun to sell in Nigeria, Egypt, and Indonesia doesn't need 160W charging, since they all come without dedicated graphics cards. Or maybe, the company has in production a laptop that will come with big graphics cards.
While we don't know when and which device this charger will be used on, we know it won't be long before the company releases a device that supports it.
