Telegram has released a new update to its Android and iOS clients, bringing the version to 7.4.0 with bug fixes and other minor improvements.

The update comes with some new app animations on Android, a few improvements to voice chats and the ability to import chats from rival messaging platforms such as WhatsApp, Line and KakaoTalk.
Last month, millions of WhatsApp users migrated to Telegram and Signal messaging app following WhatsApp's new terms of service. To make the migration easy for intending users, Telegram has added the ability to import both individual and group chats from WhatsApp, Line and KakaoTalk.
To export chats from other messaging platforms, the user is to open the specific chat, select "Export Chat" in the options and then select Telegram.
Telegram has the ability to delete individual chats for both the sender and receiver. Now it is adding the ability for users in groups, secrets chats and call history.
Voice Chats has received improvements, such as the ability to adjust the volume for individual participants and also the ability to fast-forward and rewind tracks in the app's in-built audio player.
In addition to new animation for Android users in the update, Telegram also included an option to report fake channels or groups that impersonate famous people or organizations.
