Social media giant Facebook has launched a cloud based gaming platform that can be played for free on the Facebook app or via browser.
For starters, Facebook will be introducing only free-to-play titles on to the platform, which is huge and as well attract gamers onto the platform. There's no cost to use the streaming service, though the company didn't rule out an eventual paid option with more types of games.

Also, Facebook is making it a point to introduce only games that are latency-tolerant since the current generation of cloud gaming infrastructure is not up to mark to ensure latency free gaming.
Unlike Google Stadia and Microsoft xCloud which aims to deliver PC/consoles-level titles to new form factors, Facebook is starting with ports of mobile games.
Some of the titles that are available starting this week are:
Asphalt 9: Legends by Gameloft
Mobile Legends: Adventure by Moonton
PGA TOUR Golf Shootout by Concrete software, Inc.
Solitaire: Arthur's Tale by Qublix Games
Facebook's cloud gaming service will download the required game files straight into the app or browser itself. Users will be able to choose their own Player Names and gaming-themed Avatars, which will be visible when connecting with friends or fellow players in games.
Also, players progressions and in-games purchases will be synced to the user's account across devices.
Facebook's cloud gaming is rolling out in California, Texas and Northeast and Mid-Atlantic states including, Massachusetts, New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Delaware, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Washington, D.C., Virginia, and West Virginia. Wilder rollout is expected to come soon.
Facebook web users can access the platform here. Also, Android users can access the games on their platform. iOS users for now don't have access due to Apple's Cloud games policies.
