The Internet is filled with strange, unusual and many unexpected acts. Just when you thought that you have seen all the weird things, another pops up.
An Indonesian YouTuber, Muhammad Didit, has become famous after posting a video clip of himself sitting on a couch for two hours while doing nothing but staring at the camera. The video as at the time of this post has received over 1.8 million views on YouTube and inspired memes on Indonesian social media.

According to the 21-year-old YouTuber, he was inspired to record the video by requests from some of his viewers to post a positive, educational video for a change.
"Ok, maybe i should share a little bit why this video was made," Didit said. "It all started from the Indonesian society urging me lately to create content that educates the youth - finally with a heavy heart and reluctantly, I did. BOOM, thus the creation of this video but if we were to talk about its benefits, it all depends on you the viewers to filter and that is my only advice to all of you and hope that you will be entertained and benefit from this video."
Ever since Didit's video clip went viral, the YouTuber have been busy granting interviews about his experience while shooting the video clip and the motivation behind it. Speaking to the Tribun, he explained that he carried out the recording between 11 pm and 1 am on a couch in his room.
To avoid unnecessary interruptions, he said said that he prepared by eating and going to the bathroom beforehand. One of his main concerns was his parents calling for him, though that never happened.
Funny enough, Didit explained that he planned to do the video clips for only 5 - 10 mins, but he reportedly got into character so well that he decided to do it for 2 hours.
"To be honest, I did not expect it to blow up like this, all i wanted was to make a fun video to my subscribers," Didit said.
Now that Didit has gone viral, other Internet celeb-wannabes have been busy imitating him, making similar videos to copy his success, with some going as long as 8 hours.
