The Kenyan government has announced that they will put in place measures to ensure that its cyberspace remain safe for netizens.
"Our goal is to protect people's privacy," Kenyan's Minister of information and communications, Joe Mucheru, said on June 21, a week after the Minister of Education denounced the ease in which school students now have access to p0rn0graphy contents on the Internet.

The information Minister has asked the Communications Authority of Kenya (CA) to present within seven days a clear roadmap on how to train Internet users and ensure that Kenyan cyberspace is safe.
The Minister also called on the Internet Service providers (ISPs) operators in the country to ensure that the many young people who are now studying online due to COVID19, are offered Internet protection and as well, that their parents can also control how their children use the Interact.
In line to make the web safe for youngsters, the Kenyan government have taken actions to teach young people how to use the Internet smartly. Currently, over 5,000 young people have been enrolled and are being trained through the Ajira program.
