Microsoft Excel has exceeded more than 1 billion download on the Google Play Store, joining the list of few Android apps that have crossed that milestone.
Microsoft apps on the Android store (especially the productive apps) engagement keeps growing, with the likes of Microsoft Excel and Word exceeding over 1 billion download.
Back in the days of Windows Phone, Microsoft had these apps exclusive for those using its mobile OS. However, since Windows Phone is no longer a thing, Microsoft has made available the apps on the App Store and on Google Play Store.
Just as it is with most apps that have achieved this figure, the Microsoft Excel along with other Microsoft Office apps do come pre-installed on many Android devices. Just you know, the Microsoft Excel app is ahead of Google Sheets which hit 500 million installs on the Play Store early this year.
