Google has announced the Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL smartphones at an event in the US, alongside the Pixel Bud, Pixel Go laptop and more.
Spec wise, the Pixel 4 comes with a 5.7-inch FHD+ OLED screen while the Pixel 4 XL has a 6.8-inch QHD+ OLED screen. Both devices has a 90Hz refresh rate, Snapdragon 855, 6GB RAM, comes with Android 10 and is guaranteed with 3 years of security and Android updates.
In the camera department, the Pixel devices comes with a 12.2-MP camera with a new 16MP telephoto lens for super Res Zoom feature. Users of the Pixel 4 will be able to fine-tune the brightness and amount of detail in the shadows which will help wit difficult shots like sunset portraits.

The Night Sight on the Pixel devices will allow users to capture shots of the night sky, the stars, and as well the Milky Way. Google at the launch assured Pixel 3 and Pixel 31 owners of this feature with the latest camera app update.
The Pixel 4 devices also comes with a new Motion sense feature which is powered by Project Soli. This Motion Sense feature uses a miniature radar sensor to detect movement around the Pixel 4 device. The feature can sense when the user is reaching for the phone and initiates a face unlock, and as well turn off the display when the user isn't around.
Quick Gestures on the device allow users to skip songs, snooze alarms, dismiss timers, or silence the device when it rings. According to Google, the Motion sensor feature is enabled for every market except in Japan.
The Pixel 4 devices comes with a new Recorder app that allow users of the Pixel phone to record things which can be transcribed. The is capable of identifying sounds like music and applause, and also allows users to search for a specific word or sound. The best part part? all of this deosn't require any Internet connection for it to work because English language on the device is available for transcription and search. Google says other language will be added subsequently.
