Facebook is rolling out a new interface for web users along side a dark mode option. This is coming months after the social giant made the promise at its annual developer conference F8 2019 that the changes will surface in 'the next few months.'
Facebook users using the Android app, however, did get the newly designed interface almost immediately after the announcement.
The social giant seems to be rolling out the new changes as many web users have reported that they got prompted by Facebook to try out the new interface. Once the user accepts, Facebook will then ask the user to choose between the white and dark layout.
For now, it seems Facebook is rolling out the new design server based, and some users are complaining of issues in the dark mode, while another don't like the overall design.Facebook design team is like 500 people and someone forgot to QA Facebook beta's new dark mode in settings menu pic.twitter.com/U70Nz85AKA— Yohosie (@yohosiefgc) October 19, 2019
