Google has rolled out Android 10 (Android Q) latest software, bringing a lot of new features to the mobile operating system. We have written down 10 of our favorite features from the Google latest mobile OS.
Dark Theme:
Android 10 brings system-wide dark theme for Android users. The dark theme feature helps in reducing eye strain and as well saves battery. The clamour for a dark theme has been strong to an extent that Android makers such as Samsung and Xiaomi had to introduce dark mode for their users in Android 9.
While more apps developers are creating a dark theme for their apps, those who aren't interested in creating a dark theme for apps can opt-in to a new Force Dark feature that allow the Android 10 OS to create a dark theme version of the app.
To enable dark theme in Android 10, go to Settings > Display and then activated.
Live Caption:
Your phone will be able to caption media playing on your device..automatically. Stuff that can be captioned includes; videos, podcasts, audio messages, and even your recordings.
Gesture Navigation:
Android latest update brings a full gesture navigation mode that eliminates bar area and allow apps and games to use the full screen to deliver content.
Users will use edge swipes in place of the Back, Home and Recent buttons. Swiping from the bottom of the screen will take the user to the Home screen, while swiping from the bottom of the screen and holding it will bring up Recent. Swiping from the left or right edge of the screen will take the user Back. To enable, go to Settings > Systems > Gestures.
Smart Reply and Actions:
Android users will get suggested response to their messages and as well as recommended actions too. Lets say, a friend asks you out to dinner, your phone will suggest a reply to the text, and it will as well pull up directions right in the google Maps.
Enhanced Notifications:
With Android 10 comes the introduction of a hierarchy system for notifications, which classifies them into Gentle and Priority tiers. This feature will help users manage the overload of notifications.
Users will be notified of Priority notifications via sounds and status bar icons which will appear even on lock screen. For the Gentle notifications, they will quietly appear in the pull-down notification shade without disturbing the user.
Enhanced Privacy Controls:
Android comes with a new Privacy section within the phones Settings. his section includes Activity Controls, Location History and Ad Settings, amongst other options. With the enhanced privacy controls, users will be able to grant apps location permission and Scoped Storage.
Users will also be able to block unwanted apps from launching in the background so as to prevent tracking.

With Sound Amplifier, your phone can boost sound, filter background noise, and fine-tune to how you hear best.
Faster security updates:
With Google Play system updates, important Security and Privacy fixes will be sent directly to your phone from Google Play, just the same way all your other apps update.
Bubble notifications:
One of the most interesting new Android 10 features is a completely new style of notifications, called Bubbles, which is similar to the chat heads that some messaging apps like Messenger use.
This bubble notification is a floating icon that allow users to quickly multitask while carrying on a conversation. The floating icons will remain on the screen for easy access to the conversation. Users can drag these to any part of the screen and tap on them to expand and continue the conversation.

This feature is all about setting digital ground rules and help kids form new and healthy habits. You can set screen time limits, view app activity, manage apps and content restrictions, and see where they are.
