Google has began to roll out Android 10 stable update to the Pixel smartphones, after months of beta testing. This includes the Pixel 3, Pixel 3 XL, Pixel 3a, Pixel 3a XL, Pixel 2, Pixel 2 XL, Pixel, and Pixel XL.
Other phone makers like Essential has also began to roll out the update to the Essential phone and Xiaomi too has also rolled out the update to the Redmi K20 Pro.
This years Android update saw Google break the 10-year history of naming Android releases after desserts, which it then simply named the new OS software Android 10. According to Google, the rename of Android releases became necessary to make it clear and relate-able for global users.
