This Miller Lite Beer Can Drink Is A Video Game Controller, Has Bluetooth And Is Rechargeable

Miller Lite has developed a new gaming controller that's also a can of beer to take your gaming experience to a whole new level!

The new gaming controller which is called "Cantroller," is a can of Miller Lite beer that also serves as a gaming controller.

Miller Lite, however, noted that the Cantroller are being introduced as novelty items rather than substitutes for the well equipped game controllers in use today. The idea of the Cantrollers is to offer game play in a fun and exciting way to gamers.


"With some 40% of gamers already drinking beer while they play, we're taking it to the next level by offering them in a fun way to enjoy Miller Lite while they play their favorite games," said Justine Stauffer, a senior manager on Miller Lite. "Miller Lite is a fan of gaming of all kinds, and the launch of the Controller is another way we're connecting with the gaming community."

The Cantroller can connect to computers and gaming consoles through Bluetooth and as well can be recharged because it comes with rechargeable batteries.

According to the beer maker, they partnered with a tech company called Unit 9 to develop the game controller using flexible circuit board technology and connect to gaming consoles and computers. The Cantrollers are equipped with rechargeable batteries that can hold a three-hour charge

The Cantroller can also be refrigerated and will still work even after the beer inside has been consumed, though Miller Lite recommend users to keep the can unopened for the optimal user experience.

Miller Lite has already made 200 Cantrollers with hopes that players use them "as a fun way to play some classic games" and as well, use them to celebrate "Miller Lite." The company says it plans to make several hundred more of the Cantrollers in the future.
