New Leak Confirms All Three 2019 iPhones Will Have The Controversial Square Camera Bump

We've heard rumours, seen leaked molds, case schematics and concept image based on what the successors of the iPhone XR and XS would look like. OnLeaks was the first to leak the controversial  rumoured design of the iPhone early January this year.

To support the rumour, Bloomberg reporter Mark Gurman tweeted a photo of the rumoured trio 2019 iPhone molds which has a large square camera bumps as seen in many other leaks.

Ever since its first leak from OnLeaks in January and also leaks from several Apple manufacturing partners, the rumoured design of the square camera bump has proven controversial, with many criticizing the looks and the positioning of the camera lenses within the bump.


Rumour also has it that Apple plans to apply a special black coating on some of the lenses that would help them blend into the bezel.

Graphic artist Hasan Kaymak has come up with 3D renders based on rumoured features and CAD drawings to give us what the 2019 iPhones might look like.

It is worth noting that sometimes leaks from third-party accessory makers aren't always accurate.

However, it will be no surprise if Apple goes with this design for the 2019 iPhones, given that innovations like super zoom, wide angles and other revolutions from top smartphone makers such as Huawei, Samsung and others which has stiffened the competition.

Another leak from Sonny Dickson also solidifies the new design claims.
