A Mexican restaurant is offering free tacos to Huawei users as consolation following its ban in the US.
The Mexican restaurant La Taqueria Tachitos, will give to customers who brings in a Huawei device free tacos al pastor when they make an order with a minimum of 60 pesos.
"We understand your pain," the restaurant said on Facebook, alonside an image of two people hugging.
"They are afraid of what will happen to their mobile phone and what will happen to the user," owner of the tacos restaurant, David Figueiras said.
"And we, as good Mexicans, always approach this in a positive manner," he added. "And i said 'i'm going to help them' i'm going to give them an order of tacos so they will not be sad or distressed."
According to the South China Morning Post, with the words "we understand your pain," the offer quickly gained 3.5 million visits online.
Last week, Google pulled Huawei's Android license following US crackdown on Chinese tech firms amid the US-China trade war.
The order came after the US Commerce Department placed Huawei on the Entity List, which means that the Chinese tech firm needed the US governement approval before they could buy US tech.
Other US companies such as Qualcomm Inc, Broadcom Inc, Intel, etc also suspended business with the Chinese tech giant.
