Realme has launched the Realme 3 Pro smartphone in India bringing in specs that makes it compete with Xiaomi's Redmi Note 7 Pro.
Unveiled at a press event in New Delhi, the Realme 3 Pro sports a 6.3-inch full-HD+ (1080x2340) IPS display and 2.5D curved Corning Gorrilla 5 glass. The display which has an aspect ratio of 19.5:9 has a peak brightness of 400 nits with a ratio of 1200:1.
The device runs on ColorOS 6.0 based on Android 9 Pie and is powered by an octa core Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 SoC clocked at 2.2GHz, Adreno 616 GPU.
For photos and videos, the Realme 3 Pro comes with a rear dual camera setup: 16-megapixel primary camera (IMX519 sensor) f/1.7 aperture and a 5 megapixel secondary camera (GC5035 sensor) f/2.4 aperture.
At the front of the device of the device is a 25-megapixel camera with f/2.0 aperture. Realme also brought some interesting features in the cameras such as 960fps super slow motion video recording, Ultra HD mode for capturing 64-megapixel images, optimised Nightscape, etc.
The Realme 3 Pro smartphone comes in 4GB and 6GB RAM and as well has an internal storage of 64GB and 128GB which can be expanded via microSD up to (256GB).
There's a 4,045mAh battery with VOOC 3.0 fast charge support, a micro USB port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, a rear mounted fingerprint sensor, and a Widevine L1 certification that allow users to stream HD content from service likes Amazon Prime Video and Netflix.
Others includes Bluetooth 5.0, 4G LTE, WI-Fi 802.11ac (2.4GHz+5GHz), 156.8x74.2x8.3 mm dimension and a weigh of 172 grams.
The device will be available in Carbon Grey, Nitro Blue and Lighting Purple colour options all with a gradient finish.
The base version of the Realme 3 Pro with 4/6GB will be sold for Rs. 13,999 (which is about $200.90) while the 6/128GB variant will be sold for Rs. 16,999 ($243.95).
Realme will be giving the first 1,000 customers who makes the purchase of this device via their online store on April 29 free ear buds. Other online stores in India are also offering 15% cash back, Rs. 1,000 discount on payment via some selected bank credit cards, benefits worth Rs. 5,300.
The company also launched the Realme C2 for Rs. 5,999 at the event.
