Finally, Telegram X Receives New Update, Brings New Notifications, Polls, etc

Telegram X hasn't received an update for several months. The Telegram messaging app was previously known as Challegram, an alternative to the main Telegram app before it was acquired by Telegram last year in January.

Challegram was faster than the original Telegram messaging app, had all the basic functionality of the Telegram app but also had some really good experimental features that weren't available on the main Telegram app. However, the app was renamed to Telegram X after Telegram acquired it.

The new update to Telegram X brings a new feature called Notification 2.0. This feature is a complete rework of the notification system aimed to improve the speed, reliability and the overall behaviour.


With the new update, Telegram X users can now create polls. The multi accounts functionality in the app has been reworked, faster app launch speed and recovery from errors. Telegram X has received an improved censorship circumvention, new 2FA email recovery, chat filter by type, etc.
