While many Android users are yet to receive the Android 9 Pie update from their device manufacturers, Android 10 Q beta is already gearing to be released tomorrow. This new OS release should bring improved privacy and permission controls.
According to an alleged screenshot of an internal Google calender shared on Reddit, revealed that the Internet giant is planning to release the first beta of Android 10 Q tomorrow.
The images shows that Google is planning to release the Android Q beta tomorrow which is Wednesday, March 13. Also, the images also hints towards an over-the-air (OTA) rollout which suggests that the company will invite Android users who are interested to register for the Android Q beta programme.
Interested Android users who have signed up for the programme will receive the OTA beta same way the company has done in the past.
The Redditor explained that he got the screenshot from someone he said was a developer at Google and the calender visible in the image is a "developer calender of some sort."
Though Google is yet to officially say anything in regards to the tomorrows rumoured release, we believe the beta launch is not far from now given that the company recently made the Android Q beta bug tracker live.
As it has been the tradition with Google, pre-software release testing has always been limited to Google Pixel or Nexus devices.
However, this time it is believed that Google is planning to expand the number of supported devices that will run the Android Q beta programme, Though it is still unclear if the support for third-party devices will be available from day one or on a later date as was seen on Android P.
Andropid P was the Android mobile operating system that Google granted third-party smartphone makers to also participate in the beta programme.
