The use of a virtual private network (VPN) has greatly increased, all thanks to untrustworthy ISP's tracking and selling of users private data. Opera has a free solution to Internet users.
Sometime ago, Opera used to offer a free popular VPN on Android mobile but later killed the service. Now, the company has announced another free unlimited VPN service on Android. Though in beta, the VPN is been integrated in the Opera browser.
"Today, we have started testing our new built-in browser VPN, or virtual private network, feature in our Opera for Android browser," the company said on their blog. "Beta users around the world are among the first ones to test our free, unlimited and no-log VPN feature."
The new VPN for Opera Android browser is similar to the built-in VPN for Opera desktop browser which has been around now for a while.

Opera says its VPN service is free, unlimited, and doesn't collect any data on user's browsing habits (zero logs).
"This exciting new feature in Opera for Android is designed to empower you with increased control and privacy of your browsing,"the company said.
However, one thing you must note is that the Opera's in-built VPN browser only offer VPN protection on your browser, and doesn't encrypt Internet traffic flowing in and out of your Android phone.
To get the complete OS level protection, you will need a proper VPN service, which you can easily find when you click here.
The VPN can be turned on in the settings of the Opera beta app for Android. You can choose a free VPN server to either Europe, Asia or America or even choose to let the browser decide for you your virtual location.
Users can even decide to allow search engines to bypass the VPN so as to give you more specific results according o your location.
