Cloud-based instant messaging service Telegram has rolled out a new update to its messaging app, Telegram v5.2 bringing things like group permission, increased number of members in a group, ability to undo chats deleted by mistake, new contacts sorting options and more.
Also, the messaging service has expanded the numbers of members in a group from the existing 100,000 members to 200,000. Back in November 2015, Telegram introduced what at that time they called super groups which had the ability to accommodate 1,000 members. However, super groups and basic groups have now been mingled into Groups.
With the groups simplified, Telegram now allow admin to make any group public, add new admins with granular privileges, or toggle persistent history.

Another feature that the Telegram v5.2 has brought is the "global permission for groups." This feature allow group admins to restrict all members from posting any particular content. Group admins can also permanently restrict members from making post.
The new update also brings a new animation when downloading and uploading media. Like for photos that are yet to be downloaded, there is now an obscure blur instead of an empty square space.

- Undo deleting chats and clearing chat history within 5 seconds, detailed confirmation dialogs when deleting chats.
- New sorting options in Contacts: by name or by last seen time
- New animation when uploading and downloading media
Telegram has also streamlined all group interfaces, including the Settings screens, Admin panel, and Member lists.
