Honor has listed the Honor 8A and its specifications on VMall ahead of its launch tomorrow (8 Jan 2019) in China.
The Honor 8A measures 156.28 x 73.5 x 8nm, sports a water drop notch screen with HD+ resolution of 720 x 1560 pixels, a polycarbonate body along with a metal frame.
The device is fueled by a 12nm Helio P35 chipset and works at 2.3 GHz. The Honor 8A will be the second smartphone to be powered by MediaTek Helio P35 chipset after Xiaomi Mi Play that was released in December 2018.
Embed within the notch is an 8-megapixel camera with f/2.0 aperture, while at the back there's an f/1.8 aperture 13-megapixel camera that has an LED flash and auto focus. The device is powered by 3GB of RAM and there's a 33GB and 64GB models. Additional storage can be gotten via microSD card.
The Honor 8A will come with android 9 out of the box, a 3020 mAh battery power with support for 5V/1A charging, dual SIm support, 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, 3.5mm audio jack, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS and the device weighs 150 grams.
However, there are no dual rear cameras along with a finger print scanner on this device as it were on the Honor 7A.
The device will be available in colours like Magic Night Black, Aurora Blue and Platinum Gold. The 32GB model will be sold for $116 but there isn't much information for how much the 64GB model will be sold for.
