A young Google software engineer was found dead inside the tech giant's New York headquarters.
The young software engineer, Scott Krulcik aged 22 was found by a cleaner lying on his desk unconsciously on the sixth floor of the company's Manhattan headquarters.
According to the New York Post, paramedics tried to revive him via CPR but it was already late as he was pronounced dead right at the scene. Krulcik's body didn't not show any signs of trauma nor did there appear to be any sings of criminal involvement.
A police source said Krulcik did not have a history of medical conditions or substance abuse problems.
Krulcik lived with a flatmate, who is said to also be a Google engineer, working in Manhattan's exclusive West Village neighbourhood.
The young engineer joined Google as a software engineering intern in May 2016 while he was still at the university, his personal website read.
Krulcik did work experience at Google the following year before joining the company full-time.
News of Krulcik's death stunned his neighbours who gave positive remarks about him.
The new York coroner's office will determine the cause of the death.
