Xiaomi has launched a light and super fast browser that won't eat much of your storage on your Android device.
Called Mint Browser, the Xiaomi browsing app weighs just 11MB in size and doesn't discriminate against other low-end Android devices as other browsers does. Xiaomi has done a lot of low-end devices, though the company didn't say, it seems this browser was made to accommodate devices of that category.
Xiaomi's Mint Browser is fast, light and it matches the speed of Chrome and Microsoft Edge browsers for Android. There's a Pinch and Zoom feature, Reading, Incognito and Dark modes.
Once you download the browser and open it, you will a Google search bar with shortcut icons to Google, Quora, Gmail etc. At the button is a microphone icon that provides speech recognition for Google search queries.
The app can be downloaded on the Google Play Store. Mind you, there are other apps that bear the same name but isn't Xiaomi's.
