Microsoft has released an update to its Android launcher app, adding new support for some of its other mobile app like Sticky Notes, To-Do and Cortana support.
This new support added to the v5.1.0 of Microsoft launcher app has been available in the beta version of the app, and has been undergoing test for a while now.
For those who don't know what Microsoft Launcher is all about, the Android application allow users to personalize the look and feel of their Android device by customizing the wallpaper, theme, icon packs, gestures, accent and more to give it a different look.
Here are the new update and changes to the Microsoft Launcher app version 5.1.0:
- Tack your screen time, app usage and phone unlocks with the new screen time card. You can even use the screen time widget to view this info on your home screen;
- The Launcher To Do card shows tasks from apps like Microsoft To Do, Outlook and Skype.
- The Launcher Notes card now shows your Notes from Sticky Notes on Windows, Outlook, Cortana and OneNote mobile;
- Cortana now has an updated card with support for commute/traffic and multi-commitments.
- "Hey Ciortana" is now enabled as a beta feature for the en-us market.
- Cortana support is now available in the es-ES market
- Bing mini-answers now shows you quick answers for stocks and currency in the Launcher Search bar.
