Strictly for Android users alone!! Google is randomly dishing out free Play Store Credit to Android users, and you might be lucky.
Google is giving Play Store users for free between $2 and $5 to be used in the Play Store. However, this promotion seems to be targeted towards mostly the owners of Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL. Though, non-Pixel owners too are also receiving the free credit.
AndroidPolice notes that those benefiting from the free credits are from the US which likely to be the targeted market for the free giveaway.

To check if you have received the free Play Store Credit, users are to open the Play Store and scroll past the first block of app suggestions. If are you lucky, you will see a banner offering a $2, $3 or $3 credit.
When a user claim the offer, the credit goes into the persons Google Play balance for use on any app or game.
The credit given to non-Pixel users expires in two years, but can't be used on in-app subscriptions. The Pixel credits are good good for the rest of the month.
If you are an Android user in the US, you might want to keep your eye on the Google Play Store in case you get lucky. Though the Play Store credit isn't big, theres no harm in receiving a free gift.
