Developers at XDA have made available the Google Night Sight app for download for free for android users!
The Night Sight feature was made available for the Google Pixel phones alone, and isn't officially available for other Android phones yet.
This feature enables Google Pixel users to photograph objects in the dark. The feature uses along exposure time with the standard hardware in the Google Pixel devices to capture images that are in the dark....supposed images that can't be seen.
However, XDA developers were able to rip out the feature and integrate it in the Google Camera app. The Google Camera app version 6.1.013 is available for download with the Night Sight feature activated in it.
Before you proceed with the download, know that this is the unofficial feature, and so you might experience some bugs. The Night Sight feature was created for the Google Pixel 3 alone, though it also works on the Google Pixel 2 and 1 but not as it is on the Google Pixel 3 that it was intended for. .
Once you've downloaded the app, head over to the More option at the end of the camera mode options. Now select Night and then wait for it a bit while its working. Keep your hands steady while you wait for the surprise.
Kindly download the app and give us your feedback. However, users on Android 8.0 and up have more chances of experiencing stability with the app. Still, Android 7.0 too can download and gives us feedback.
