As if to say the huge notch on the Google Pixel 3 XL display isn't big enough to piss off users, a second notch has been showing up unexpectedly for users on the Google Pixel 3 XL device over the weekend.
One of the most disliked features of the Google Pixel 3 XL is the presence of the notch. Most Android users were heavily disappointed when Google decided to opt for a notch design --- a design heavily popularized by Apple.
Google made the notch on the Pixel 3 XL unique... a design so unique that it occupied more space than other Android devices that also embraced the same notch design.
According to images shown on Twitter by Jessie Burroughs, some Pixel 3 XL device are experiencing a bug that cause a second notch to appear on the right side of the display of the device. Another Google Pixel 3 XL user posted image of the same problem on Twitter.
For now, we don't know what caused the bug. However, the bug might have something to do with the developer settings or screen rotation settings. We heard you like notches...@madebygoogle @MKBHD @tldtoday @ArtemR @derekmross pic.twitter.com/VjlYL56Bd5— Kyle Gutschow (@kylegutschow) October 26, 2018
Those who had the issue said they were able to resolve it by when they changed a few settings in the developer section. Others said the issue resolved its selves after a reboot of the device.
