One person have been arrested by the police in Santa Rosa, California, in connection to the robbery carried out at an Apple store at the Santa Rosa Plaza.
According to captured video surveillance, the theft took place around 1:30 p.m on Sunday afternoon saw the thieves cart away with more $35,000 worth of Apple products from the Apple store as customers and employees watched.

Police Sgt. Kyle Philip said the theft incident was being investigated by the Police Department's property crimes unit, and were still waiting for Apple to provide the list of stolen items so as to help out in the investigation.
Over the past months, heist at Apple stores in California has heavily increased with such incident happening at stores in Corte Madera, Walnut Creek, Thousand Oaks, Roseville, Burlingame and Fresno.
In July 2018, some gang of hooded thieves stormed an Apple store in New York and made away with apple products worth over $19,000. The New York police department placed a bounty for any lead that could result in the arrest of the culprits.
The increased heists at Apple stores in the US is a cause for concern. Not only is Apple losing money but the safety of its employees are also at risk.
A concerned father of an Apple store employee who spoke on the condition of anonymity so as to not to jeopardize his daughter's job, expressed concerned over the repeated thefts at the store.
