A Group of unknown hackers has hacked a couple of high profile YouTube vdeos including Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee hit song Despacito, which has over 5 billion views. BBC reports.
The hackers who calls themselves Prosox and Kuroi'sh also hacked other high profile YoutTube accounts which includes Chris Brown, Shakira, Selena Gomez, Katy Perry, Drake and Taylor swift.
The hackers removed the Despacito video and replaceed it with a cover image showing a group of men wearing mask and pointing guns. Some other videos still remain unchanged though the hackers changed the title of the videos and replaced their cover.
Underneath those videos, the hackers wrote "Free Palestine"
A Twitter account that apparently belongs to one of the hackers posted: "It's just for fun, I just use [the] script 'youutbe-change-title-video' and i write 'hacked'."
"Don't judge me I love YouTube," the hacker added
All the affected accounts are Vevos and it is still not clear whether the hackers gained access to individual accounts or if there was a wider exploit with Vevo accounts.@YouTube Its just for fun i just use script "youtube-change-title-video" and i write "hacked" don t judge me i love youtube <3— Prosox (@ProsoxW3b) April 10, 2018
