Selfie has become a very popular trend on social media sites like Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, 2go, Snapchat etc. and the presence of a front camera on our smartphones has even made it a daily activity for some.
Some few days ago, a Californian woman fell 60 feet off a girder underneath a Bridge near Auburn while trying to take a selfie in a restricted area.

According to news reports, the woman who came in company of her friends fell from the girder underneath the Foresthill Bridge Near Auburn, California. After the accident, she was then airlifted to Sutter Roseville Medical Centre with serious injuries, though reports said that she was likely to survive the accident.
The Foresthill Bridge and its environs have become a popular sport for photographers and fun seekers. According to the Office of Placer County Sherrif, the girders on the bridge are off-limits for general citizens and trespassers are often cited for violation of the placer County Code and the State Panel Code.
According to locals, in February, 2015 over 34 people were fined in just a single day for unauthorized entry into the same restricted area.
